This calculator gives you calendar days (all 7 days of the week). For working days only (Monday through Friday), you'd need a specialized business days calculator that excludes weekends and holidays.
Convert both dates to a Julian day number (days since a fixed point), then subtract. Or use an online calculator for accuracy, as manual calculation can be tricky with leap years.
This calculator includes both the start and end dates in the count. So if you count from April 1 to April 2, it shows 2 days. Some calculators show 1 day for the same range.
Leap years add an extra day (February 29) every 4 years. Our calculator automatically accounts for leap years in its calculations.
